So many years of this life and still trying to come near the threshold
forget about crossing it.

It looks a simple statement.I invest in it deeper import.One could be at the threshold of many things-adventure, hope, victory, a new era or even a new ground.I would believe that Lakshmi is meaning threshold of one's spiritual awareness and the eventual crossing of it to achieve the purpose of life.This is one threshold that despite the passage of many years most do not reach, let alone crossing it.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely true. After so many years if we just stop and think for a minute about what have we achieved or what have we done to say we have fulfilled our life's purpose, I am sure most of us would feel that we are not even near the threshold. Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteVery insightful. I see this this as a reflection of the life of an Indian woman. We have neared some thresholds but not been able to cross it - atleast not all of us!!
